Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and very light-yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Merriam opens with a faint lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, delicate and slightly sweet. The flavor profile is a mild lime with faint hints of ruby grapefruit and toffee in the after taste. As the wine opens up, some vanilla-oak emerges. The finish is a tad off-dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with Julia’s lemon parmesan chicken over pasta. Enjoy – Ken
