Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Merriam is really good. It opens with a fragrant graphite and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and luscious. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe blackberry and graphite blend with notes of black tea. I also detected hints of black currant. The finish is dry and its sticky moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. I would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
