Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petit Verdot opens with very fragrant Welch’s grape juice bouquet with hints of graphite and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and very fruity. The flavor profile is a stewed plum and elderberry blend with hints of lavender. The finish is semi-dry and its tannins build-up nicely and linger in your mouth. This fruity Petit Verdot would pair well with Great Hill blue cheese on a baguette slice. Enjoy - Ken
