Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Merriam opens with a blackberry tea and black plum bouquet. On the palate, it is light plus bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black plum blend with notes of black pepper. I also detected hints of oak, black tea and gentle minerality in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely for a Pinot. This Pinot was well liked by all that tried it. I would pair it with Wensleydale cheese with blueberries. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This decadent medium bodied Pinot Noir (Clone 667 & 777) captivates your senses with notes of dark cherry, cinnamon, and dark chocolate on both nose and palate. Finishing with hints of forest floor and pink peppercorn making it the perfect complement to any dish.
