Wine Review: This pale golden yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Merriam opens with a ripe yellow grapefruit and gardenia bouquet with hints of stony minerality and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic, juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty white grapefruit with notes of flinty minerality, nectarine pit and white pepper. We also detected some hints of lime and saline mixed in. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is a nice summer offering and would pair well with grilled swordfish or shrimp Pad Thai. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
