Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot based blend from Merriam opens with a black cherry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of red plum and rose pedals. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky, and sophisticated. The flavor profile is tasty mild blackberry and juicy black plum blend with notes of stone dust and cinnamon tea. We also detected hints of blueberry, thyme, and bay leaf. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined polished dusty tannins are extended and drift away nicely. We would pair this impressive red blend with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
