Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored Cab Franc opens with a mild spicy blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and a bit lively. The flavor profile is a very spicy blackberry with a hint of pepper. The finish is quite dry and its rather noticeable tannins are very nicely extended. This wine would pair well with barbecue short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This fourth bottling is inviting in appearance with its dark ruby red color, the 2006 "Jones Vineyard" Cabernet Franc brings scents of plum-violets, raspberry, and cherry with hints of light smoke and spice to the nose. Upon tasting, flavors of cassis, spice, and vanilla on the palate give way to a thick and lasting finish of currant, sweetwood, and a hint of coconut.
