Wine Review: This yellow colored Chard opens with a mild green apple bouquet with a hint of yeast in the background. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is ripe golden delicious apple with notes of vanilla oak and toasted almonds. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. Our mini group thought his would pair well with Orecchiette with chicken, peas, and a thick cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2008 Carneros Chardonnay is concentrated and intense in style. Aromas of hazelnut, ripe Bartlett Pear, tropical fruits and red apple are framed by crisp minerality and sweet toasty oak. The wine is rich, full-bodied and creamy with a lingering finish.
