Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Cabernet from Napa opens with a pleasant mild black cherry and black currant bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and dense. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and old oak infused black cherry. I also detected hints of black currant and blueberry as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are quite sticky and linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine is very dark in color with intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, graphite, vanilla and cedar. The palate shows intense notes of boysenberry, plum, blueberry, camphor, smoke, coffee, cedar, and Asian spices. The wine is wound tightly and should be decanted in its youth. With proper cellaring, it will evolve for 10 to 15 years.
