Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Metzker opens with a golden delicious apple bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and creamy. The flavor profile is unique blend of coconut flakes and a banana cream custard pie with hints of vanilla and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This delicate Chard would pair perfectly with almond-crusted trout crab cakes with herbs. Enjoy – Ken
