Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah from Meyer Family Cellars opens with an attractive blackberry and birch beer bouquet with hints of blueberry and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile continues with birch beer and mild blueberry along with notes of nicely integrated mild cedar plank and juicy plum. The finish is dry and its refined tannins linger but are nicely managed. I would enjoy this very good Syrah with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This cool climate Syrah has classic notes of blueberry, violet, pepper, and wet earth.
