Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cab opens with a red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a fruit forward black raspberry and menthol with a hint of black pepper and black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger nicely. This is Cab is a very good bargain wine. It offers a lot of wine for the money. It would pair very well with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This medium black plum colored Napa Cabernet is dense with heavily extracted black cherry and boysenberry with integrated and refined French vanilla notes. The palate is rich with dark skinned fruit like cassis, black cherry and a hint of wild huckleberry on the back. The resolved tannins are firm on the mid-palate and balanced on the sappy and fruit packed mid-palate; the finish is delicate yet supple, soft yet dry. This wine is drinking excellent in it's youth, but as it is a wine that drinks better than twice it's price, you may want to get one or two for the cellar.
