Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Michel Rolland opens with an oak and black currant bouquet with hints of black licorice and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and with nicely integrated bright medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and very well-balanced. The flavor profile is crushed stone minerality and black currant blend with notes of blackberry and black licorice. We also detected hints of oak. The finish is dry, and its moderate grippy tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Panel would pair this Cab with porterhouse steak or beef wellington. Enjoy – KWGTP
