Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Franc from the Hudson Valley is very good. It opens with a dark chocolate and black plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral influenced plum with notes of oak and blackberry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins and acidity linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. This Cab Franc would pair well with tangy pulled pork. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Notes of violet and dark bramble fruits such as blackberry and black raspberry characterize the rich aromas. Palate-coating flavors of black current and coffee bean with ripe tannins carry through to the smooth finish.
