Wine Review: This Chardonnay from Mon Frere opens up with notes of toasted pecans, golden delicious apples, and tiger lilies. On the palate, the Mon Frere Chardonnay displays baked apples and pears, along with notes of clementine and some hints of allspice. The finish is round with plenty of lingering flavors and the softest touch of acidity. A classic Californian Chardonnay, it would pair nicely with a baked lemon halibut. - Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Color: Delicate gold
Nose: Aromas of citrus, pear and stone fruit lined with floral notes and a hint of nutmeg and vanilla.
Taste: A rich, round mouthfeel with perfectly balanced acidity and minerality followed by a refreshing finish.
Pairing: Ideal with cream sauces, seafood and poultry dishes.
