Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Moret Brealynn opens with a cherry, plum, and cinnamon bouquet with hints of craisin and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and savory. The flavor profile is black raspberry and spiced plum blend with notes of oak and lingonberry. We also picked up a hint of vanilla. The finish is dry, and its tannins and flavors are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with a pork tenderloin or shrimp and grits. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir hails from the primely located, Lakeview Vineyard, in the Green Valley of Russian River Valley, Sonoma County. Two clones and 15% whole cluster make up this Pinot Noir as it went into four different Cooperages of new French Oak. Aged for ten months, this wine is bold and exudes blue fruits with a long finish. This wine needs some time in the bottle before it's enjoyed, so if you can't wait, (and I don't blame you), then give it a one to two hour decant.
