Wine Review: This white gold colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with a white grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of pilsner beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and juicy. The flavor profile is a grapefruit and honeydew melon blend with notes of stony minerality. I also detected hints of white pepper, lime zest and nectarine pit in the aftertaste. The finish is refreshing and lingers nicely. This crowd-pleasing Albarino will pair nicely with grilled swordfish skewers. I would also serve it slightly chilled at the beach on a hot summer day. Enjoy - Ken
