Wine Review: This clear and medium yellow colored Albariño from the Rias Baixas region in Spain opens with a wet slate and golden apple bouquet with hints of green grapes and a touch of vanilla cream. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, broad, and supple. The flavor profile is white peach and stone dust blend with notes lemon verbena and nectarine. We also picked up some hints of quince and celery. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this very good Albariño with pan-seared Chilean sea bass with a spring vegetable risotto. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: The 2023 Albariño has mineral, elegant aromas with hints of freshly cut pineapple, peaches, and stony notes. Saline and dry on the palate with a round, medium body, and fresh acidity. A gastronomic, textural, and pure expression of Albariño.
