Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Motto opens with notes of black cherry, black raspberry and gentle oak on the nose. We also picked up some hints of faint vegetal aromas as well. On the palate, it is medium bodied with some lively acidity, yet displays nice balance. We found lots of juicy blackberry, red raspberry and Bing cherry flavors with hints of black pepper on a nice long extended finish. Overall, it was smooth, velvety and rich with lots of ripe fruit. This is very tasty bottle of Cab that will be our future “go to” for summer barbecues! It would be great with any grilled meat! It is a very good wine, especially for the price! - Karen & Stu

Winemaker Notes: Our Cabernet Sauvignon walks a fine line. It has both backbone and elegance, with a soft and delicate nose of ripe red fruit. Dark, concentrated flavors of red plum, caramel and bright raspberry explode out of the glass for a lasting finish. Pair with a French dip sandwich, meat-lovers pizza, or dark chocolate cake.
