Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a fragrant blackberry and boysenberry bouquet with hints of black cherry and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is a juicy blackberry and oak blend with notes of stony minerality. I also detected hints of boysenberry and black tea in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins lingers and last for quite a while. This wine was very popular at a recent holiday event I attended. With dinner, I would pair it with a with duck breasts with a blackberry sauce. Ken
