Wine Review: This pitch black colored Caberent Franc opens with a fragrant and inviting blackberry jam bouquet with hints of boysenberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a savory. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced blackberry and stewed plum blend with notes toasted oak. I also detected hints of blueberry towards the end. The finish is rather dry and its flavors linger nicely. I would pair this with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Classic Cabernet Franc characters of dried cherry, black tea, and Mt. Veeder focused blue fruit along with floral notes and Asian spice.
