Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend opens with blackberry and black currant bouquet with hints of clove spice and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is concentrated, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant and crushed stone blend with notes of stewed red plum and toasted coconut. I also detected some hints of tea, menthol, and clove. The finish is dry and its refined tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this flavorful wine with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Initial aromas of black currants, plum puree, and a hint of desert sage are complemented upon swirling with a loamy minerality. The palate has good volume, fine tannins and a dense but weightless feel with a complex mixture of black fruits. It shows good structure and has great clarity of fruit with an open and accessible profile.
