Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored blend opens with an interesting black cherry and toasted coconut bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a ripe black cherry with notes of minerality and green olive. The toasted coconut also showed up at the end. The finish is dry and its tingly acidity and mild tannins fade away nicely. This wine would pair well with a Kobe and bacon slider. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Perfumed aromas of currants, plum skin, dried herbs and spice make way for more intense notes of smoked raspberry, dried strawberry and vanilla bean. The flavors are layered and concentrated, providing a seamless palate filled with deep cherry, black fruits, sage and baking spices. Delicious, sultry and complex, this wine’s wonderful texture and silky tannins carry through to a long and lifted finish fitting for an age-worthy release. Pairs well with any red meat on the grill.
