Wine Review: This straw-colored Riesling from Navarro opens with a ginger and tangerine bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and mouth-coating. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced ginger with notes of white pepper, apricot and honey. I also detected some hints of green tea towards the end. The finish is a dry and its fruit flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This Riesling would pair well with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
