Wine Review: If you are looking for a nice value Riesling, this very pale yellow colored offering from Washington will meet your needs. It opens with a mild green apple bouquet with a hint of grapefruit in the background. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, zesty, and shows citrusy acidity. The flavor profile is a tangerine and lime blend with notes of minerality and a touch of apricot as well. The finish is off dry and its acidity lingers for quite sometime. Pair this wine with steamed mussels in a garlic broth. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Citrus blossom and orange with a hint of lime, pear, and apricot on the nose. Flavors of orange, white peach, pineapple, and guava. On the palate, it is fruity with a vibrant entry, nice balance between acidity and residual sugar allowing for a crisp and clean yet round and full wine. Recommended pairings: A cleansing and refreshing accompaniment for sushi or it would also pair beautifully with sole or flounder in a butter cream sauce.
