Wine Review: This clear light hay colored unoaked Chardonnay from Neyers opens with a pineapple bouquet with hints of green tea and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous, and fresh. The flavor profile is chamomile tea and Anjou pear blend with notes of almond and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of golden delicious apple. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with your favorite chicken cutlet recipe. Enjoy - Ken
