Wine Review: This golden straw-colored Riesling opens with an inviting fruity bouquet of peaches, apricots, honey and herbal notes. On the palate, it is medium bodied, slightly creamy and balanced with crisp integrated acidity. The flavor profile features juicy citrus fruits, apricots, sweet honey and light green apple. The finish is off-dry, enjoyable and lingers. This Riesling from the Mosel is a very good offering at this price point. If not for sipping on its own, I would recommend pairing with Tuscan shrimp over linguine. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: The Urban Riesling has everything you can expect from a fine Riesling from Germany’s renowned Mosel Valley. It has a complex, smoky and floral nose, a juicy, fruity elegant mouthfeel with minerality that finishes off-dry and crisp with the impulse to take the next sip.
