Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with an apricot, golden apple, and honey bouquet with hints of lemon iced tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well balanced, round, and elegant. The flavor profile is chalky minerality, mild apricot and honeydew blend with notes of ginger and green tea. We also detected some hints of lychee and fennel. The finish is dry, refreshing and long. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with linguini and clam sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
