Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Northstar was well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild cherry bouquet with hints of toffee and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry with notes of oak. I also detected hints of black tea, plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Panel thought this is finesse Cab would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of black cherry lead into a palate ripe with raspberry jam, chocolate, cedar, and vanilla flavors. The wine has a full mid-palate and a rich finish of toasted oak.
