Wine Review: This deep pink colored Sparkling Wine from England opens very few medium bubbles. The bouquet features aromas of red currant, moist bread dough, strawberry and a hint of wet gravel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with pleasantly elevated zesty acidity. The mouthfeel is round. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced red raspberry and strawberry blend with notes of bread dough. We also detected hints of ruby grapefruit, saline and nectarine. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Rose is easy to drink and food friendly. We would pair it with Rick’s shrimp cocktail or crab legs. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
