Wine Review: This light gold colored sparkling wine from England opens with medium streaming bubbles. The bouquet features bread dough and toasted almond with hints of red delicious apple and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity and a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lemon verbena and mushroom blend with notes of chamomile tea and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors are dry, refreshing and extended. This Sparkling Wine would pair well with broiled scallops and asparagus risotto. Enjoy – Ken
