Wine Review: This easy drinking, mouth filling Napa Chardonnay is a golden yellow color. The bouquet is a blend of butterscotch, Bosc pear, nutmeg, and pineapple. Slightly creamy on the palate, it is medium bodied, round, balanced and clean with medium acidity. It displays flavors of baked pear, caramelized golden apple and mild oak with hints of lemon-lime, brioche, crushed stone, and vanilla. The finish is crisp, with lingering ripe fruit flavors. I would pair this Chard with a hot buttered lobster roll. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: This wine underwent simultaneous alcoholic and malolactic barrel fermentation, followed by 9 months sur lie in 33% new French oak. Our 2021 Los Carneros Chardonnay is expressive and approachable; showcasing balanced fruit, beautiful, crushed seashell minerality, lingering acidity and rich flavors and aromas of caramelized white pear, fresh fuji and golden delicious apple, apple blossoms and torched crème brûlée.
