Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Petite Sirah from Once and Future was one of our top finishers in our recent Big Blind Tasting. It opens with a very inviting boysenberry bouquet with hints of lavender. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, creamy and super smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral influenced mild boysenberry and blueberry blend with notes of stewed plum, black tea, vanilla and oak. The finish is dry and its grippy tannins build-up and last for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this gem with slow-cooked short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
