Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from the "Old Hill Ranch" opens with a raspberry and Maraschino cherry bouquet with hints of oregano and florals. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and refined for a Zin. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and red currant blend with notes of cedar and olive. We also detect hints of oregano, minerality, Lindt 70% cocoa and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Zin with coq au vin or shepherd's pie. Enjoy - KWGTP
