Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from Opolo opens with lychee and papaya bouquet with hints of clementine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slight acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral infused lemon verbena and lime blend with a hint of tangerine. It closes with a refreshing dry finish that lingers for a while. This Albarino would pair nicely with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Albarino shines with the classic characteristics of Albarino produced in its original home, the Rías Baixas region of Spain. Aromas of tangerine peel and grapefruit are framed with a hint of lemon grass. Tangerine and kiwi greet the palate and lead into a delightfully racy and mineral finish. Drink now. Pair with oysters on the half shell.
