Wine Review: This clear and hay colored Riesling from Osmote in the Finger Lakes region opens with a green apple and galia melon bouquet with hints of chamomile and Vaseline. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and bright. The flavor profile is a honeycomb and ginger ale blend with notes of green apple and chamomile tea. We also detected hints of lime zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away finished. We would pair this Riesling with pan-fried walleye. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
