Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from Finger Lakes is a very good summer red. It opens with a red cedar closet bouquet with hints of red fruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is cedar influenced red plum and nutmeg blend with notes of oolong tea and smoke. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins drift away nicely. I would serve this Cabernet Franc slightly chilled with grilled Norwegian salmon or with grilled kielbasa. Enjoy - KWGTP
