Wine Review: This ruby colored Grenache based blend from Rioja opens with an iron filings and raspberry bouquet with hints of violets and under ripe strawberries. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is tasty red currant and mild red raspberry tea blend with notes of cinnamon, stony minerality and spiced red plum. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and refined tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this impressive, good value Spanish wine with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken
