Wine Review: This slightly hazy and ruby colored Pinot Noir from Papapietro Perry opens with a red raspberry and red cherry bouquet with hints of light tobacco and licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tart black plum, maraschino cherry, and black pepper blend with notes of loam and black raspberry tea. I also detected hints of cedar, black licorice, strawberry, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and mild tannins linger and last for a while. I would pair this Pinot Noir with a hearty braised venison stew. Enjoy - Ken

The bright ruby color showcases a medium-bodied wine, full of sweet red fruits and some earthy notes on the nose, leading to a rich and complex profile. Its robust structure opens with strawberry, concentrated flavors of raspberry, Bing cherry and cola that tantalize the palate and lingers on the tongue for a perfect finish. The depth and impeccable balance of this blend make it an exceptional pick for those who appreciate the elegance of a classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
