Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Zinfandel based wine opens with a cigar box and blueberry bouquet with a hint of mocha. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slight acidic, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused blueberry with notes of plum along with hints of black currant and baking spice. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. This wine was well received by all that tried it and it paired well with Stuart's steak treats. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2016 Pintail offers sumptuous aromas of black cherry and blackberry jam, along with undertones of cinnamon and mocha. On the palate, flavors of fresh-baked raspberry cobbler are supported by well-structured tannins and hints of oak-inspired holiday spice that add nuance and depth to the lush, focused finish.
