Wine Review: This midnight purple colored red blend made from Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon is very unique. It opens with a boysenberry and Mounds candy bar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and round. The flavor profile like the nose features the sweet coconut and dark chocolate found in the Mounds bar along with notes of Acai berry and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a little sticky and linger nicely. I would pair this very good wine with a Thai coconut lime grilled skirt steak. Enjoy - Ken
