Wine Review: This dark red colored wine from Paraduxx opens with a fragrant black raspberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of pencil shavings and saddle leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. We also found it to be soft and smooth. The flavors profile is a black cherry with notes of oak, black currant, black raspberry, spice and minerality. We also detected hints of black coffee and blackberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate plus tannins show very nice length. The Panel suggests pairing this wine with a New York strip steak or short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Inspired by Paraduxx's early blends of Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine explodes with a medley of ripe fruit flavors that include strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, as well as notes of cedar, clove, nutmeg and dried flowers. The palate is juicy and concentrated, with the Cabernet providing a structural framework for vibrant red fruit flavors of cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate.
