Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blend opens with a blackberry bouquet with hints of olive and stewed black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a blackberry and loam blend with notes of black plum, olive, and oak. I also picked up some hints of black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry, and its medium tannins and flavors show nice length. I would pair this red blend with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This refined and stately blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah showcases the structure and sophistication that can be achieved when these varietals are grown at high elevations.
