Wine Review: This white gold colored Viognier based blend from Paraduxx opens with a ginger and apricot bouquet with hints of mango and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright and juicy. The flavor profile is a stony mineral influenced ginger and under ripe pineapple with notes of saline. I also detected hints of apricot, green apple, and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. This wine benefits nicely from aeration. It settles and smooths out the longer it is open. This wine would pair well with linguini and garlic and clam sauce or with Duxbury oysters. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lush, flowing and beautifully focused, this wine begins with enticing aromas of honeysuckle, white peach and Asian pear, as well as tropical hints of lemon zest and mango. On the palate, an undercurrent of acidity adds brightness to the stone fruit and citrus flavors, with aging on the lees in neutral French oak providing a hint of supple creaminess to the long, radiant finish.
