Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a fragrant and inviting blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of black currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. We found it to be unbelievably balanced, incredibly smooth, rich and silky. The flavor profile is an absolutely delicious blend of black currant, fine chocolate, black cherry and oak with notes of nicely refined chalky minerality. We also detected hints of blueberry and espresso mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well-managed, yet stick around for a very long time. The Panel would pair this impressive, show-stopper Cabernet Sauvignon with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
