Wine Review: This hazy pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Patz & Hall opens with a mild oak and pear bouquet with hints of pineapple, lightly toasted marshmallow, and bee's wax. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, creamy, and seamless. The flavor profile is an oak influenced bartlett pear and butterscotch blend with notes of white peach and pineapple. We also detected hints of lemon-lime, cantaloupe, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very nicely extended. We would pair this Chard with lobster bisque with a sherry drizzle or with a rich seafood casserole. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This 2022 embodies a fruit forward, luscious style of Chardonnay from warm, Santa Lucia Highlands. Pineapple, fennel, white peach, and exotic fruits verge on the tropical. Additional notes of marzipan, marshmallow, popcorn, and caramelized apple make the mouth water and the connoisseur come back for more. Taught acidity flows elegantly throughout the mouthfeel and leaves the palate refreshed. (Unfined and Unfiltered)
