Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Paul Hobbs is Excellent. It opens with a heavenly blueberry bouquet with hints of cola and cedar. I could smell this wine all day long. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, silky and so smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious mild boysenberry jam and blueberry muffin blend with notes of wonderfully integrated oak. I also detected some black cherry, RC Cola, and spice mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its lovely flavors last for a very long time. This Pinot is likely to be our top choice this year. I would pair it with filet mignon at your favorite steak house. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Brilliant ruby in color, this wine has intriguing aromas of black raspberry, damp forest floor, brown sugar, and cocoa powder. The texture on the palate is rich, silky and pure, with kirsch, black tea and vanilla bean leading to a polished finish with nice acidity and a touch of earthy minerality.
