Wine Review: This slightly hazy and yellow gold colored Chardonnay from Paul Hobbs opens with a gentle lemon and nectarine bouquet with hints of pineapple and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a pear, oak, and pineapple blend with notes of chalky minerality, lime zest, and herbal tea. We also detected hints of spice, mango, and caramel.
