Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah opens with a bacon and black currant bouquet with hints wet stone and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, seamless, and well-balanced. The flavor profile is black currant and black plum blend with notes of stony minerality and oak. We also detected hints of black tea, chocolate, and blackberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Syrah with a marinated grilled hanger steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
