Wine Review: This pitch black colored blend opens with a fragrant ripe black raspberry bouquet with hints of black olive, oak and cassis. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rather juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe boysenberry and black raspberry blend with nice influences from it oak. I also detected hints of gentle cassis and red plum as well. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and moderate tannins show nice length. This wine is made for meat. I would pair it with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Look for intense black cherry, rhubarb, pomegranate and mocha, as well as smooth and velvety tannins that lead to a long complex finish.
